New Visa Fees for Entering Syria Effective July 6, 2025

Visa fee Now Required for Entering Syria By Land Borders and Airports

Syria Scope Travel would like to inform our valued travelers, both Arab visitors and international friends, who wish to enter the Syrian Arab Republic through land border crossings or Airports, that a Visa fee will be required for entering Syria by land borders or airports, starting Sunday, July 6, 2025.

This update is based on a decision issued by the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, and it applies to entry visas and transit visas issued according to nationality.

What You Need to Know about the Visa Fee for Entering Syria by Land

Visa fees will vary by nationality and visa type (single-entry, multiple-entry, transit).
Fees are to be paid in US dollars or their equivalent in Syrian Pounds, based on the official rate set by the Central Bank of Syria.
Fees will be collected at border crossings or airports upon arrival in Syria.
This decision is legally effective starting July 6, 2025.
