A massive thank you to Ali, our guide and Mohammed, our driver, whose knowledge, hospitality (and patience!) were second to none. We saw some incredible places, over a couple of days, and their know-how and energy kept us excited for each day, which was different from the last.

My guide Lulu kept me accompanied and was very knowledgeable about the stories of all places we visited. She also knows many cute and decent restaurants in Damascus, and took me to a speakeasy. We took road trip from Damascus to Aleppo and back. Probably the only time I am willing to take a road trip. All the sites along the way are super meaningful and cool in their own rights.

We saw beautiful landscapes, great old towns (city of Damascus, souq of Aleppo et cetera) and enjoyed it very much. In between we could enjoy the rides and beautiful views.

Also the food was just super tasty at all locations that we were brought to during the trip. We tried the best Falafel and some other amazing dishes, it was also made sure we could eat veggie foods only which is important to both of us, my friend and me.
