Syria Scope were absolutely amazing, from start to finish! A massive thank you to Ali, our guide and Mohammed, our driver, whose knowledge, hospitality (and patience!) were second to none. Over the course of 4 days we visited Damascus, Maaloula, Homs, Aleppo, Hama, Idlib, Serjilla and Krak des Chevaliers and their know-how and energy kept us excited every day! Syria Scope’s choice of accommodation, food and sights to see where absolute quality, and we felt they had years of experience that really contributed to this knowledge. We had a big change to make at the end of our trip due to cancelled flights, and Syria Scope was straight on making sure that we were supported all the way through when leaving the country, so I just wanted to add this extra touch was particularly memorable for us and we would like to extend our thanks to everyone for arranging the logistics for this. Do not hesitate to use Syria Scope, they are fantastic…we are already planning our next trip with them!! Communication was prompt and clear from start to finish, and the hotels were a wonderful, comfortable choice in great locations. My guide, Khaldoun, was easygoing and incredibly knowledgeable—he brought each site to life with historical context and local insights. The owner, Ayoub, did an excellent job putting the itinerary together; logistics ran smoothly and the pace felt just right. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a well-organized, tour of Syria. If I had tried to do this trip in such a short time without Syria Scope, I guarantee I would have spent thousands more dollars, been more stressed, and I never would have met as many interesting people or seen as many beautiful sights. My guide and driver ensured I was taken care of in every possible way- the hospitality at my hotels was unbelievable, and the places we went were personally catered to my interests at every point. I never had to worry about anything: visa, food, accommodations, tickets for specific locations, transportation, or translation. My guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and the culture of every area we got to see, and so many people recognized her and trusted her- they even allowed us into non-public areas I could never have seen alone. I usually travel by myself but I truly believe this trip was so much more magical for me due to all the help of Sarah and Phillip (and everyone else on the team!). If you want to see Syria, please consider Syria Scope. Posted on Google Shane Wang Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The itinerary wasn’t just about visiting places it was about understanding the soul of Syria, its history, its resilience, and its people. Nothing felt rushed or superficial; everything felt intentional and authentic. But this experience would not have been what it was without Sara. A huge, heartfelt shout-out to Sara, who is far more than a tour guide. She is genuine, compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable, generous, and profoundly human. She shared stories with honesty and sensitivity, answered every question and made me feel safe, welcome, and truly connected at every moment. By the end of the trip, she wasn’t just a guide anymore; she became a friend. A real one. Because of her, Syria now holds a very special place in my heart and I am definitely coming back, without hesitation. If you are considering visiting Syria, choose Syria Scope Travel, and if you are lucky enough to have Sara as your guide, know that you are in the hands of an exceptional human being. Thank you for an experience I will never forget. 💙 Posted on Google jeana arabzadeh Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I just finished the Winter Tour and recommend it! Sara was our guide and she genuinely is super enthusiastic about history and being the group’s guide. I recommend bringing US Dollars since there are no ATM’s for foreigners and USD is accepted. It’s cold in the winter and the hotels use generators so there’s heat in the rooms! My absolute favorite was our hotel in Damascus - Beit al-Mamlouka. Thank you Syria Scope! Posted on Google Beata Szlachta Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
