01 Damascus » Palmyra » Damascus

Pick-up will be from a location near your hotel at 8:30 AM. From there, we’ll begin our journey with a scenic 3.5-hour drive to the legendary ancient city of Palmyra, one of Syria’s most iconic archaeological sites. Historically, Palmyra was once a major Silk Road hub, and as a result, it rose to great power in the 3rd century AD, briefly ruling a vast empire that stretched from Turkey to Egypt.
Despite suffering significant damage during the ISIS occupation in 2015, nevertheless, many remarkable structures still remain. During the tour, in particular, we’ll explore key highlights such as the Arch of Triumph, Sulphur Spring, Great Colonnade, Roman Theater, Agora, Qalaat Ibn Maan (Palmyra Castle), and several ancient tombs.
We’ll pause for lunch in a traditional Bedouin tent, hosted by a local family—an excellent chance to enjoy authentic Syrian cuisine and experience warm desert hospitality.
After the tour, we’ll head back to Damascus, arriving around sunset, where you’ll be dropped off near your hotel.

01 Damascus » Homs » Krak Des Chevaliers » Damascus

Pick-up will be from a location near your hotel at 8:30 AM. We’ll begin our journey with a scenic 3.0-hour drive to the city of Homs.
Located in central Syria, Homs was historically pivotal in the Syrian revolution. During our visit, we’ll explore two of the city’s most important landmarks: first, the Khaled Ibn Al-Walid Shrine, a masterpiece of Islamic architecture, and then the hist.
After that, we'll continue our journey to Krak des Chevaliers, which was famously described by Lawrence of Arabia as "the most wholly admirable castle in the world." Furthermore, this medieval crusader fortress is one of the most significant and well-preserved castles from that era, therefore offering a fascinating glimpse into Syrian history.
After the tour, we’ll head back to Damascus, arriving around sunset, where you’ll be dropped off near your hotel.

01 Damascus » Busra » Damascus

Pick-up will be from a location near your hotel at 8:30 AM. From there, we’ll begin our journey with a scenic 2.5-hour drive to the south through the lush, fertile plains to the ancient city of Bosra al-Sham, which is notably home to the best-preserved Roman amphitheater in the world.
Subsequently, we'll explore the city’s rich Roman heritage, including its baths and captivating historical tales. Meanwhile, while in the region, we’ll also have the chance to enjoy the renowned Malihi dish, a local specialty.
Next, we’ll visit the original school in Daraa where the boys' graffiti ignited the revolution, and meet Muawiya Siyasneh, one of those boys, to hear his firsthand account of that pivotal moment in history.
After the tour, we’ll head back to Damascus, arriving around sunset, where you’ll be dropped off near your hotel.

01 Damascus » Maaloula » Mar Musa » Damascus

Pick-up will be from a location near your hotel at 8:30 AM. We’ll begin our journey with a scenic 1.0-hour drive to Maaloula, a small Christian town that suffered immense destruction by ISIS in 2014. Despite this, it nevertheless remains one of the most scenic villages in Syria and is the only place in the world where Aramaic, the language spoken by Christ, is still actively used as a living language; indeed, it is even possible to hear the Lord’s Prayer being spoken in it.
Afterward, we visit Mar Musa, a breathtaking 6th-century monastery perched among rugged mountains. Notably, shaped like a towering fortress, this ancient site was founded by Mar Musa al-Habashi (Saint Moses of Abyssinia), who, according to legend, was the son of an Ethiopian king.
After the tour, we’ll head back to Damascus, arriving around sunset, where you’ll be dropped off near your hotel.
