He is the golden man, one of the Syrian citizens who lives in the old city of Damascus. this man wanders its streets with his gold jewelry. He loves to meet people and exchange conversations with them. His story begins from his childhood and his love for gold, where he decided that he would invest in gold and wear gold jewelry in the public streets to give an image of safety in the city. Many may think it is crazy how a man can walk around with his gold jewelry in the middle of crowds in a country that has been subjected to a long war and the economic conditions there are bad, but as we do not expect, Damascus is considered one of the safest places and its kind and friendly people are very safe.

We had a tight schedule so we asked to see as much as possible, which she happily obliged to. She has a very interesting background, knowing every last bit of the city, its culture, history and food!
