Laws apply to all foreign cars, depending on the country of license plateYou must be the official owner of the vehicle, and you must have a driving license issued by the country in which the car is licensed. Upon arrival at the Syrian border, the authorities will issue a registration book for the vehicle valid for a full year, but you can keep the car in Syria for four continuous months only. The cost ranges between 200 To 250 USD dollars depending on the type of car. After this period, you can extend it for two months. During the extension period, the cost ranges between 50 to 55 USD dollars for each week of extension. After the six months have passed, the car must be removed from Syria for a period of six months until the entry permit has expired. Then you can Re-enter it with a new license.
