Day 1 ​-  Beirut »  Damascus city tour

• The tour kicks off at 8 AM in Hamra, Beirut, Lebanon. Firstly, from there, we embark on a scenic drive toward the Syrian border and onward to Damascus. In fact, the entire journey, including the border crossing, takes approximately 3 hours. (also, we can pick up you from Damascus Airport)
  
• Settle into your charming Old Damascene hotel and enjoy a brief rest before embarking on a captivating walking tour of the historic old town.
  
• To begin with, we’ll start our exploration of the old town with a visit to the Ananias Church, Damascus’ oldest underground structure. Moreover, it is believed to be the remains of the home of Ananias of Damascus, where he famously baptized Saul, who later became Paul the Apostle.
  
• Explore Straight Street (or in Latin, Via Recta), is the Roman street that runs from east to west in the old city of Damascus. What's more, it was visited by St. Paul as recorded in the Book of Acts and contains several interesting sights from the Roman, Christian, and Islamic periods.
  
• The Umayyad Mosque, a historic site of worship dating back to the first millennium B.C, it was once a church and is now one of the most important mosques in the world.
• Following that, we will explore Souk Al-Hamidiye: The most beautiful souk of Damascus. Here, its shops display all sorts of goods, especially clothes, fabrics, pastries, and handicrafts.
• Azem Palace, a beautifully preserved example of a traditional Damascene house turned Ottoman-era museum.
  
• We will visit the house of teacher Farhi, which is the most beautiful house in Damascus. It was closed during the war, This house is distinguished by its unique architectural design, rich in details, and was originally owned by one of the richest merchants in Damascus.
• We will visit the oldest cafe in Damascus (al Nofara) and listen to the famous storyteller.
  
• Later on, we’ll head to Nanerj, the best restaurant in the old city of Damascus, for dinner. Indeed, it will be one of the best meals you've ever had—guaranteed!
  
• Furthermore, we'll also discover some hidden gems in Damascus, such as Al Qashleh Cafe, known for its vibrant atmosphere and ​popularity with Syria's younger crowd. ​Additionally, we’ll visit The Barber Shop, the only speakeasy place in Syria—offering a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
  
• Additionally, there is an option to visit a traditional Hamam for an evening scrub! Moreover, there’s no better way to wrap up your first day in Damascus than by unwinding in one of its historic bathhouses.
  
• Finally, you will enjoy an overnight in a boutique hotel in the center of the Old Damascus.

Day 2 – Damascus ​​​» Palmyra » Damascus

• Breakfast at the hotel, early departure to Palmyra.
  
• Firstly, we will visit the ancient city of Palmyra, Syria's most iconic tourist destination. Notably, once a key city on the Silk Road, Palmyra briefly ruled its own empire in the 3rd century, stretching from Turkey to Egypt. However, despite being well-preserved, much of the city was sadly destroyed during the ISIS occupation in 2015.
  
• During our tour we will explore what remains, including the Arch of Triumph, the Sulphur Spring, the Great Columns, the Theater, the Agora, the castle and the Tombs.
  
• Furthermore, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch in a traditional Bedouin tent restaurant, run by a local family. This is, indeed, a perfect opportunity to savor authentic Syrian cuisine while experiencing the warm hospitality of the region.
  
• Afterward, we will drive back to Damascus, arriving just in time to enjoy a relaxing dinner in the city.
• Finally, overnight in Damascus.
