Day 1 - Beirut - Damascus city tour

The tour kicks off at 8 AM in Hamra, Beirut, Lebanon. Firstly, from there, we embark on a scenic drive toward the Syrian border and onward to Damascus. In fact, the entire journey, including the border crossing, takes approximately 4 hours. (also, we can pick up you from Damascus Airport)
Settle into your charming Old Damascene hotel and enjoy a brief rest before embarking on a captivating walking tour of the historic old town.
To begin with, we’ll start our exploration of the old town with a visit to the Ananias Church, Damascus’ oldest underground structure. Moreover, it is believed to be the remains of the home of Ananias of Damascus, where he famously baptized Saul, who later became Paul the Apostle.
The Umayyad Mosque, a historic site of worship dating back to the first millennium B.C, it was once a church and is now one of the most important mosques in the world.
Then, we will head to the Handicraft Market, which is home to some of the finest handmade goods in the Middle East.
Explore Straight Street (or in Latin, Via Recta), is the Roman street that runs from east to west in the old city of Damascus. What's more, it was visited by St. Paul as recorded in the Book of Acts and contains several interesting sights from the Roman, Christian, and Islamic periods.
Azem Palace, a beautifully preserved example of a traditional Damascene house turned Ottoman-era museum.
We will visit the oldest cafe in Damascus (al Nofara) and listen to the famous storyteller.
Later on, we’ll head to Nanerj, the best restaurant in the old city of Damascus, for dinner. Indeed, it will be one of the best meals you've ever had—guaranteed!
Furthermore, we'll also discover some hidden gems in Damascus, such as Al Qashleh Cafe, known for its vibrant atmosphere and popularity with Syria's younger crowd. Additionally, we’ll visit The Barber Shop, the only speakeasy place in Syria—offering a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
Finally, you will enjoy an overnight in a boutique 5-star hotel in the center of the Old Damascus.

Day 2 – Maaloula - Homs - Krak Des Chevaliers - Al Mishtaya

Our first stop today will be Maaloula, a small Christian town that suffered immense destruction by ISIS in 2014. Despite this, it remains one of the most scenic villages in Syria and is the only place in the world where Aramaic, the language spoken by Christ, is still actively used as a living language; in fact, it is possible to hear the Lord’s prayer being spoken using it.
Following this, we’ll head to Homs, the most affected city by the war, during our visit, we'll explore the Khaled Ibn Al-Walid Shrine and the St. Mary Church of the Holy Belt, two significant landmarks of the city.
After that, we'll continue our journey to Krak des Chevaliers, which is described by Lawrence of Arabia as "the most wholly admirable castle in the world." In addition, this medieval crusader fortress is one of the most significant and well-preserved castles from that era, offering a fascinating glimpse into Syrian History.
Afterward, we take a short drive to the Christian village of Almishtaya, known for its vibrant nightlife. Indeed, you can experience the lively atmosphere and enjoy the evening in one of Syria's most charming villages.
Finally, overnight in a 4-star hotel in Al Mishtaya-Homs countryside.

Day 3 – Al Mishatya - Palmyra - Damascus

Breakfast at the hotel, early departure to Palmyra.
Firstly, we will visit the ancient city of Palmyra, Syria's most iconic tourist destination. Notably, once a key city on the Silk Road, Palmyra briefly ruled its own empire in the 3rd century, stretching from Turkey to Egypt. However, despite being well-preserved, much of the city was sadly destroyed during the ISIS occupation in 2015.
During our tour we will explore what remains, including the Arch of Triumph, the Sulphur Spring, the Great Columns, the Theater, the Agora, and the Tombs.
Furthermore, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch in a traditional Bedouin tent restaurant, run by a local family. This is, indeed, a perfect opportunity to savor authentic Syrian cuisine while experiencing the warm hospitality of the region.
Afterward, we will drive back to Damascus, arriving just in time to enjoy a relaxing dinner in the city.
Additionally, there is an option to visit a traditional Hamam for an evening scrub! Moreover, there’s no better way to wrap up your first day in Damascus than by unwinding in one of its historic bathhouses.
Finally, overnight in Damascus.

Day 4 – Damascus - Busra - Beirut

After breakfast, we'll begin our tour.
The National Museum: Its visit provides an overview of the civilizations that have succeeded on Syrian soil. Specifically, it contains statues, seals, jewelry, masks, mosaics, tablets and weavings from the most important sites in the country.
we'll head south through the lush, fertile plains to the ancient city of Bosra al-Sham, which is certainly, home to the best-preserved Roman amphitheater in the world.
Subsequently, We'll explore the city’s rich Roman heritage, including its baths and captivating historical tales. Meanwhile, while in the region, we’ll also have the chance to enjoy the renowned Malihi dish, a local specialty.
back to Damascus and We will visit Mount Qasioun, the highest peak offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire city of Damascus.
After breakfast, we'll visit the remaining tourist attractions in Damascus, including the modern districts, and enjoy some free time for shopping.
We'll then drive back to Beirut (or Damascus Airport), aiming to arrive by early evening, around 8 pm.
