The Syrian government has implemented a new decision to raise tourist visa prices for travelers to Syria, This includes all nationalities.
Since 2019, travelers to Syria must be accompanied by a licensed tour operator, such as Syria Scope Travel, to obtain the necessary visa. However, it’s important to note that the tour operator doesn’t directly apply for the visa but facilitates a security clearance process, which includes a background check. This clearance typically takes up to a week to process. Once approved, travelers are free to explore Syria for up to three months from the date of issuing the security clearance.

The increase in visa prices is due to economic reasons and reasons related to reciprocity.
