This celebration lasts for four days, in contrast to Eid Al-Fitr, which is celebrated for just one day.     Eid al-Adha is a public holiday. On this day, the majority of people have the day off, and schools along with most businesses remain closed.

    Mawlid (The Birth of Muhammad the last prophet)

    Also known as Eid-e-Milad an-Nabi, the feast of the birth of the prophet Mohammed.
    This annual festival commemorates the birthday of the Islamic prophet Muhammad on the traditional date of 12 Rabi’ al-Awwal (the third month of the Islamic calendar).
    Celebrations often include gatherings where stories of the Prophet’s life and teachings are shared.
    The Prophet’s Birthday is a public holiday. It is a day off for the general population, and schools and most businesses are closed.

    Christmas and New Year’s Eve – December 25 & December 31, 2026
